Mike is a third generation Californian. Born and raised in Menlo Park, CA. He joined the Navy in 1959 and spent 4 year as a Naval Air Ordinance expert. In the 1960’s he worked as a motorcycle mechanic in Bay Area bike shops & raced motorcycles. In the early Seventies he became a General Building Contractor and ran his own Company for 30 Years. Mike and has Wife, Darlene, retired in 2000 and in July of 2010 moved to a high rise Condo in downtown Reno. Mike has one year of Go Kart racing behind him. He and his crew Darlene & Beau picked his kart #42, for the year he was born. They are looking forward to season 2012. Mike and his crew’s goal for 2012 is a couple of podium finishes. However, he will always have his sites on Dave. Mike and Darlene like to hike, walk the river with Beau, and go to the shows and street activities in down town Reno. We volunteer at the National Automobile Museum. We love our new life in Reno, and look forward to seeing everyone at the track this spring.
