The board does not determine anything in this case.
It is up to the competitor to have the conscience to race where they should.
TaG Novice fell apart last year and the novices had to step up their game to race.
Derrick with one race under his belt ran his final two Xhead races in Masters starting at race#1 when he saw that there wasn't going to be a novice class.
When I started driving (not racing) at NNKC the member that got me hooked (Holmes)
ran 80 novice and the rule (maybe it was a gentlemans rule) was if you won three races in novice you need to move up.
In this day of winning is more important than having fun I think it should be up to the drivers to police their class. They are the one that have to sleep at night. All three got baptized by fire and if they think they belong in Novice so be it.
My opinion is none of the three are novices but what do I know.
