Usually I would not chime in on the beating of what seams to be a dead horse at the moment. But I am all for the paying of the workers (as Brian mentioned & probably very well knows). Its nice being able to chill-out between heats, maybe I am just getting old - LOL, and to bench race with pit-neighbors or help friends.
But as mentioned, you have to be at the meetings to count & be heard and its not been in the cards for me as of late to add a vote so I guess we will see how it all turns out! We elected the board, so we have to trust their judgment and respect the rules are being followed (meaning not making changes just because but requiring votes, etc as it should be and as they are doing).
Can we at least play the typical Benny Hill music of the intercom between heats when we are scurrying around to find where we should be ;-)
