The NNKC prints a Newsletter every month that is mailed to members. If you have a news worthy item you would like to be considered for the next published Newsletter, send a message by clicking here.
The NNKC also provides bits and pieces of Online news of things that members might need to know or gentle reminders before the next newsletter is printed. The Online news will also keep out of town, non-member racers, updated or prospective new members informed of club activities. If you have some news you would like added to the Online news, Click here to contact the correct person.

Club meeting starts at 7pm at Denny's off I-80 and E. McCarran. Hope everyone can make it there as we have a few important topics to discuss.
The club is looking for a TV/DVD combo or just a small TV. I do have an old DVD player that we can use if need be. So a 19" TV is preferred unless you have a combo which is just that much easier to carry around, plug in and play.
Dan Harris also sent a sign up sheet for the Motorsports Expo show via email last night to all current members. Were hoping you guys email him back with what times you can work. If you are not a current member and want to work the show, email me and I will pass Dan's contact info to you.
We would like to have most of these slots filled before Tuesdays meeting since we have a couple other things to discuss about this show.
Our goal of having 45 members by March's meeting seems like a possibility since we are standing at 41 strong right now. We still have a few old members who will join, just haven't done it yet.
As most of you now, we have many new members this year. Many factors contributed to this like members passing the word about karting to others, members bringing out prospects to the track, and prospects finding our website through a search engine. We ask that you have patience with the new members on practice and racedays. We want nothing more than for them to have a positive experience when at the track. Help them out when they need help or if their doing something wrong, guide them in the right direction to doing it right.

p.s. I will read off that list of drivers in each class that have confirmed their intentions to race. If you are not on the list and will be running a class part time or full time, email me so I can put you on.

NNKC will have a booth at the Motorsports Expo show Friday March 12th through Sunday March 14th. Dan Harris is setting up the event for us with a nice little booth. He will have much literature to pass out and will also have at least 5-6 karts on "standing" stands grouped together. Were hoping to have at least 1 motor package from each group that we run at NNKC. Please call Dan or email him if you'd like to show your kart off to the public.
Also, he will need some help manning the booth. If your interested, again, please email or call Dan. If you need his email, let me know. We will have sign up sheets available at the Meeting on Tuesday March 2nd. Hopefully in the next week will will be able to send out a sign up sheet through email so you can sign up there as well. The show starts each day around 11am and ends around 7pm or so.

I can email Membership applications to anyone that wants one. Email me at karter81 at gmail dot com.
Its easy. Just download the file, print it up, fill it out and mail it and your check in to the clubs P.O. Box which is at the top of the form.
Also, the membership apps will be at MMS Kart Shop with membership cards and keys by Monday Jan 25th. The new lock will be the "ONLY" lock on the gate after Feb 2nd, 2010.
As a reminder, the forms via email or at the kart shop have the "old" price of membership on them. Simply cross out the old price of $400 and write in the new cost in ts place.
