The NNKC prints a Newsletter every month that is mailed to members. If you have a news worthy item you would like to be considered for the next published Newsletter, send a message by clicking here.
The NNKC also provides bits and pieces of Online news of things that members might need to know or gentle reminders before the next newsletter is printed. The Online news will also keep out of town, non-member racers, updated or prospective new members informed of club activities. Sunday Aug 1st marks NNKC's 4th Championship points race. The stakes are getting high as this race will put us over the half way mark for the year. Class leaders include Garrett Dixon (Jr 1-2), Matt Koerner (TaG Novice), Brian Rivera (TaG Masters), Mark Nason (F-80 Masters), Kevin Tanaka (F-80 Senior) and Terry West (Clone). These drivers will be looking to add to their points lead this coming Sunday!!
All california karters are welcome to come over the hill and participate in our club race. Last club race produced 91 entries and we look to come close to that number again. Classes being run are:

Jr 1-2 Cycle
TaG Novice
TaG Senior
TaG Masters
Formula 80 Sr
Formula 80 Masters
Stock Moto 125
Box Stock Clone Sr
Box Stock Clone Jr
Gates open at 6am. Registraion opens at 7am. Drivers meeting at 8:45am and first practice after 9am.
Out-of-towners: Come practice Saturday and race Sunday for $75.
Taco Truck will be out by 10:30am on Sunday.
Just a reminder - we do have a TRACK CLEAN-UP day Saturday July 31 from 9am till noon. See you all soon! |

Results will be posted as soon as they are official. NNKC thankx the NFRA for bringing up their clones and f-200's. NNKC thankx all the Jr-1 drivers from over the hill that ran very well in both Jr 1-2 Cycle and HPV-1. We'll have to go back 10 years to see 90 entries at a club race. The pits looked loaded. Let's do it again......

Saturday was the clubs 2nd workday. Many members and racers showed up and helped with the clean up of the property. Chores completed were:
1. Weed removal on front straightaway, turn 5 and turn 3.
2. Moved old registration booth near new reg booth
3. Buzzard Trucking (Don Kennedy) loaded up all the metal poles and hauled them away.
4. Hay bale alignment
5. Generator batteries serviced
6. Post board (for timing and scoring sheets) was hung back up.
7. Fixed shade for flagman
8. Repaired flagman stand
9. Installed solar panel for generator batteries.

2. Moved old porta-jons to the North side fence.
3. Broken hay bale removal

5. Fixed green screen fence by carports

7. Moved all canopy frames to North side of facility.
8. Generator radiator install

Its easy. Just download the file, print it up, fill it out and mail it and your check in to the clubs P.O. Box which is at the top of the form.
Also, the membership apps will be at MMS Kart Shop with membership cards and keys by Monday Jan 25th. The new lock will be the "ONLY" lock on the gate after Feb 2nd, 2010.
As a reminder, the forms via email or at the kart shop have the "old" price of membership on them. Simply cross out the old price of $400 and write in the new cost in ts place.
